So I went through a little bit of a rut the month after the Whistler show went up. I knew I needed some time away from painting after doing it almost every night after work for months, and I just needed some time to decompress. Thank you to all who came to my show while it was up…its still up until November 3rd!
Been enjoying the fall colors around the New England area the last few weeks. Its finally peak, I’ll be so sad to see them go but its worth all the beauty thats around. Been taking walks as much as I can, the perfect thing to clear my filled up brain. Went to the Lowell Cemetary a few times, and boy is it inspiring. So amazing that this gorgeous place is in the middle of a city filled with brick mill buildings!
What I also love to do is draw in my down time. Weird things coming from my imagination. I can tell later on that this drawing was totally inspired by the leaves!
And below is a painting I started only a few weeks ago. Loving the colors and where its going. Trying to encapsulate all the things I love about this time of year!
